Calm Down Corner Plan

Students will identify their feelings and practice three calming strategies—deep breathing, sensory jar exploration, and coping card selection—to self-regulate during emotional moments.

Teaching Pre-Kers to recognize emotions and use concrete calming tools builds self-awareness, reduces meltdowns, and fosters independence in emotional regulation.
