Setting Boundaries with Friends

In this lesson, students will learn how to set and respect boundaries within friendships through active learning activities. This session aims to equip students with the skills needed to maintain healthy and respectful relationships.

Step 1

Introduction

3 minutes

Step 2

10 minutes

  • Divide students into small groups.
  • Distribute scenario cards to each group (each card depicts a different situation where boundaries may need to be set).
  • Ask each group to discuss the scenario and come up with a way to set a healthy boundary.
  • Walk around to facilitate discussions and assist as needed.

Step 3

Share and Discuss

5 minutes

  • Bring the class back together and have each group share their scenario and the boundary they set.
  • Open the floor for questions and additional discussions on why those boundaries are important.
  • Reinforce key points and provide feedback.

Closure

  • Summarize the lesson by highlighting the importance of boundaries.
