Lesson Plan

Body Guards Role-Play Plan

Students will develop confident refusal skills by role-playing as “body guards,” practicing “I” statements, firm tone, and eye contact to say no to peer pressure and protect their health.

Building refusal skills empowers students to make healthy choices, resist peer pressure, and develop confidence and decision-making abilities critical for substance use prevention.
