Step 1

Session 1: Shaping the Clay Flowers

30 minutes

Activities:

  • Introduce the project with a discussion about Spring and flowers.
  • Demonstrate how to roll, shape, and arrange clay pieces into a basic flower form.
  • Allow students to create their own clay flower base, ensuring they explore textures and shapes.

Step 2

Session 2: Enhancing Texture and Drying

30 minutes

Activities:

  • Review last session's work and discuss any difficulties.
  • Guide students to add texture details to their clay flowers using simple tools.
  • Explain the importance of letting the clay dry properly, and if possible, set aside created pieces in a safe drying area.
