  • Gather students in a circle and introduce the “Behavior Quest” theme.

  • Explain today’s mission: identify good behaviors, practice them, and reflect on why they’re important.

Step 2

Behavior Quest Game

7 minutes

  • Divide students into groups of four and distribute Behavior Quest Game Cards to each group.
  • On a turn, a student draws a card, reads or acts out the behavior described.
  • Group members decide if it’s a positive behavior and explain their reasoning.
  • Award one point for correctly identifying positive behaviors and one point for thoughtful explanations.

Step 3

Reflection

3 minutes

  • Hand out the Behavior Reflection Worksheet.
  • Students write down one positive behavior they want to practice today and explain why it matters.
  • Encourage honesty and clarity; remind them there are no wrong answers.

Step 4

Wrap-Up

  • Invite 2–3 volunteers to share their chosen behavior and reasoning.
  • Summarize how practicing these behaviors builds a respectful classroom.

  • Gather students and introduce the concept of a “Behavior Hero.”
  • Ask: “What makes someone a hero in our classroom?” List examples (e.g., listening, helping others).
  • Explain today’s mission: practice hero behaviors through scenarios, make a pledge, and earn a badge.

Step 2

Scenario Role-Play

7 minutes

  • Divide students into small groups of four. Distribute Behavior Hero Scenario Cards.
  • On each turn, a student draws a card, reads the classroom scenario, and describes how a Behavior Hero would respond.
  • Group members discuss and agree on the best response.
  • Rotate until each student has led at least one scenario discussion.

Pledge Signing

  • Bring students together and display the Behavior Heroes Pledge Poster.
  • Read each pledge statement aloud, inviting student responses (e.g., “I will…”).
  • Have students sign their name on the poster or place a signature sticker under their chosen pledge.

What is a Behavior Hero?

A Behavior Hero shows respect, helps others, and sets a great example. They listen, cooperate, and keep our classroom safe and happy.

Ask students to brainstorm examples of hero behaviors. Write answers on the board.

Scenario Role-Play

  1. Form groups of four and get your Behavior Hero Scenario Cards.
  2. Take turns drawing a card and reading the scenario.
  3. Discuss how a Behavior Hero would respond.
  4. Rotate until everyone has led a scenario.

Guide students into groups and model one round if needed. Remind them to use respectful language when discussing.

Behavior Heroes Pledge

• Follow classroom rules
• Show respect every day

Read each pledge line aloud; pause for student participation. Invite them to sign their names or add a sticker.

Design Your Hero Badge

  1. Take a Behavior Heroes Badge Template.
  2. Write your name.
  3. Draw one hero behavior you commit to practicing.
  4. Decorate and wear your badge proudly!

Distribute badge templates. Circulate and encourage neat writing and colorful designs.

Wrap-Up & Challenge

Share your badge with a partner.
Challenge: Be a Behavior Hero and practice your behavior all day!
