Step 1

Step 2

Jenga Game Setup

5 minutes

  • Distribute a Jenga set to each group of students.
  • Provide emotion labels for each Jenga piece (e.g., happiness, anger, sadness).
  • Instruct students to attach an emotion label to each piece.

Step 3

Playing the Jenga Game

15 minutes

  • Students take turns removing a Jenga piece and sharing a time they felt the emotion on the piece.
  • Encourage students to discuss how they managed or could manage that emotion.
  • Continue until the tower falls or time is up.

Reflection Session

10 minutes

  • Distribute the reflection worksheet to each student.
