Step 1

Introduction

  • Share examples of assertive phrases and actions.

Step 2

Game Setup

2 mins

  • Distribute Bingo cards and markers/chips to each student.
  • Explain the rules of the Bingo game: students will mark off assertive phrases as they hear them.

Step 3

Play Assertiveness Bingo

12 mins

  • Call out assertive phrases randomly from the list.
  • Encourage students to mark their cards when they hear a phrase.
  • The first student to get a line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) shouts "Bingo!" and shares the phrases they marked.

Step 4

Closure

  • Discuss with students how they felt using assertive phrases.
