Learn and apply different art techniques

Students will express their creativity through various art projects, learning about different art techniques and mediums. This lesson will help students explore their artistic skills, build confidence in their creative abilities, and develop a deeper appreciation for the arts.

Step 1

Introduction

5 mins

Welcome students to the art session.
Briefly introduce the concept of expressing creativity through art.
Show examples of different art techniques and mediums they will use.

Step 2

Art Project

30 mins

Distribute art materials (paper, colored pencils, crayons, markers, watercolors, paintbrushes).
Explain the steps for a simple art project, allowing flexibility for individual creativity.
Encourage students to experiment with different techniques and mediums.
Walk around to offer guidance and support as needed.

Step 3

Reflection and Sharing

10 mins

Have students complete the Art Reflection Worksheet.
Facilitate a discussion using the Discussion Guide to help students share their artistic experiences and learn from each other.
Encourage students to display their artwork and explain the techniques they used.
