Animal Action Dice Adventure

Encourage imaginative play

Step 1

Introduction

2 minutes

  • Gather students in a circle.
  • Explain that they will be playing a fun game called 'Animal Action Dice'.
  • Show them the large dice with different animal images on each side.

Step 2

Dice Crafting

3 minutes

  • Briefly explain how the dice was made (if pre-made) or show them how to make one using a cube and animal stickers or drawings.
  • Ensure each side of the dice has a different animal image.

Step 3

Animal Action Game

8 minutes

  • Have students take turns rolling the dice.
  • When a student rolls the dice, they must act out the animal that appears on the top face.
  • Encourage other students to guess the animal being acted out.
  • Rotate turns so each student has a chance to roll and act.

Step 4

Closure

2 minutes

  • Gather students back in a circle.
  • Ask them which animal was their favorite to act out and why.
  • Reinforce the importance of using imagination and being active.
