Step 1

Introduction

Begin with a brief discussion about the alphabet.

Step 2

Alphabet Matching Activity

15 mins

Distribute the Alphabet Matching Worksheet to each student.
Instruct students to match upper case letters with their corresponding lower case letters.
Walk around to assist and encourage students as needed.

Step 3

Alphabet Bingo Game

15 mins

Hand out Alphabet Bingo Cards and markers to each student.
Call out letters randomly, and have students mark the corresponding letter on their bingo card.
The first student to complete a row shouts 'Bingo!' and wins a small prize.
Repeat the game as time allows.
