Students will create posters highlighting their interests, hobbies, and dreams.

In this lesson, students will create 'All About Me' posters that highlight their interests, hobbies, and dreams. This activity helps students express themselves and learn about their classmates, fostering a sense of community and belonging in the classroom.

Students will create posters highlighting their interests, hobbies, and dreams.

Materials

Poster paper, Markers, Crayons, Colored pencils, Glue sticks, Scissors, Magazines for cut-outs, and Worksheet template for 'All About Me' poster

Step 1

Introduction

10 mins

Welcome students and explain the purpose of the 'All About Me' posters.
Discuss how this activity will help everyone get to know each other better.
Show an example of a completed 'All About Me' poster.

Step 2

Guided Activity

35 mins

Hand out the worksheet template for the 'All About Me' poster.
Provide students with materials (poster paper, markers, crayons, etc.).
Guide students through filling out their worksheets, encouraging them to think about their interests, hobbies, and dreams.
Allow students to decorate their posters with drawings, magazine cut-outs, and other materials.

Step 3

Gallery Walk

Once the posters are completed, have students display their posters around the classroom.
Conduct a gallery walk where students can walk around and look at each other's posters.
