Step 1

  • Read the first part of the story aloud to the students.

  • Walk around to provide assistance as needed.

Step 3

  • Continue the story with the next part on the worksheet (Part 2).
  • Read the story aloud and guide students through the next set of addition problems.
  • Use the Printable Manipulative Cards if needed to help students visualize the problems.
