Step 1

Icebreaker

  • Arrange chairs in a circle, one less than the number of students.
  • Assign each student a fruit name (e.g., apple, banana, grape).
  • The student standing in the middle calls out a fruit, and all students with that fruit name must switch seats.
  • The middle student tries to find a seat. The new student left without a seat becomes the caller.
  • If 'Fruit Basket' is called, all students must switch seats.

Introduction

Begin with a brief introduction on the importance of physical activity. Discuss how daily exercise can improve mood, energy, and academic performance. Introduce the day's activities and set expectations for participation.

Discussion

Step 4

Activity: Kickball

Set up a simple kickball game to get everyone moving. Explain the basic rules and divide the students into two teams. Emphasize fun and teamwork.

  • Mark the bases using cones.
  • Use the kickball to play the game.
  • Rotate the teams so everyone gets a chance to kick and field.
  • Encourage positive reinforcement among teammates.

Cool Down and Reflection
