How Lenny Came to Be

Lenny Learning was inspired by other brothers.

Bryce’s brother died by suicide in 2020.

Ting's brother has spent years living with untreated illness and addiction.

Our childhoods could not have been more different, yet we saw the same gap: when a young person struggles, the right help rarely reaches them in time.

We set out to change that.

Our first project, Brain Health Bootcamp, proved that research-backed lessons can lift mental-health literacy in a single class period. But teachers kept telling us the same thing: great content is not enough.

They needed resources that meet every student’s unique moment, delivered instantly, without adding to their workload.

So we built Lenny-an AI assistant that turns proven strategies into custom lessons and interventions in seconds.

Today, counselors and teachers across hundreds of schools rely on Lenny to create thousands of interventions, saving tens of thousands of hours and improving outcomes for more than half a million students.

This is only the beginning. Every week Lenny learns from new research and better models, helping educators do what they do best: change lives.
