A 6-session course for adult ESL learners teaching financial literacy through FDIC resources. Students will build vocabulary, understand deposit insurance, and practice real-life money skills. Each 1-hour session includes engaging activities, discussions, games, worksheets, and quizzes to reinforce learning.

In this lesson, students will create a collective visual collage using images and words that represent gratitude. Participants will watch a video on crafting great resumes and cover letters, followed by a hands-on activity to apply these tips to their own resumes. This lesson is important as it empowers individuals to present themselves effectively in the job market, increasing their chances of securing employment.

This lesson will introduce students to different community helpers, such as firefighters, police officers, and doctors, and explain their roles in society. The lesson includes a video, discussion, and interactive activities to reinforce learning.

In this lesson, students will explore the basics of healthy eating, including making balanced meals and understanding food groups. The lesson includes interactive activities and creating a “Healthy Plate” drawing. This lesson is important to help students develop habits for a healthy lifestyle.
