In this one-session, 45-minute Tier 1 lesson, 1st and 2nd graders will meet the school counselor and build classroom routines through fun, interactive activities. Students will learn each other’s names, explore counselor roles via a read-aloud, and create a collaborative art piece. This engaging 5-session, 45-minute each, beginning-of-year unit for kindergarten helps students learn school routines, positive behaviors, and build a caring class community.
