In this single-session 30-minute lesson, 5th graders will explore social awareness—the ability to understand others’ perspectives and emotions. Through interactive activities and discussion, students will learn why noticing feelings and viewpoints in others helps build empathy and stronger friendships. This Tier 1 lesson will set the foundation for kinder, more respectful classroom interactions.
In this engaging 2-session, 15-minute each, Tier 2 small-group lesson, kindergarten students will learn key self-management strategies like deep breathing and calm-down techniques. This lesson helps children recognize their emotions, practice regulation skills, and improve classroom behavior in a fun, supportive setting.
