Bridges Not Walls

In this six-session unit, 6th graders explore empathy, diversity, and restorative practices after incidents of bullying tied to religion and race. Students will learn to identify bias, practice healthy communication, and build inclusive communities, culminating in a restorative project presentation.

Project Pathfinder

In this 5-session series, experienced publishers will gain independence in planning and executing projects by mastering project mapping tools and resource use. Through scaffolded activities, games, and discussions, participants will learn to break down large projects, leverage available resources, and build confidence in their project management skills.

Walk in Their Shoes

A 5-session, 20-minute each individual lesson to help the student connect their own experiences of being bullied for religion to the impact of bullying peers of color. Through scaffolded activities, reflections, and a culminating empathy project, the student will build perspective-taking skills and understand the harm of exclusionary language.
