This chart is designed to help you understand each role in your group activity. Each role is important in making sure our team works well together.
Roles & Descriptions

Leader
The Leader keeps the team organized, makes sure everyone understands the task, and helps the team stay on track. They share ideas, make decisions, and encourage others. -
Recorder
The Recorder writes down important information, ideas, and decisions the team makes. They keep a record of what the team discusses and any conclusions reached. -
Timekeeper
The Timekeeper watches the clock and reminds the team of time limits. They ensure that the group stays on schedule and that everyone has a fair chance to speak. -
Presenter
The Presenter shares the group's ideas and outcomes with the class. They speak clearly and confidently, making sure the team’s work is communicated well.

Welcome to your group challenge! Follow these steps with your team to complete the task successfully. Remember, each role you have is important for your team's success.
Steps to Follow

Form Your Group
Gather with your teammates and make sure everyone knows their role: Leader, Recorder, Timekeeper, and Presenter. Double-check the Group Roles Chart if you need a reminder of what each role does. -
Read the Challenge
Your group will receive a challenge question from the teacher. Listen carefully to the instructions and ask questions if anything is unclear. -
Brainstorm Together
Discuss the problem as a team. Share your ideas freely and support one another. The Leader will help keep everyone involved, the Recorder will note key ideas, the Timekeeper will ensure you stay on track, and the Presenter will be ready to share your group’s findings. -
Decide on a Plan
Agree as a group on the best solution to the challenge. Make sure everyone has a chance to contribute, and document your decision process.

The Presenter should organize the group's ideas and be ready to explain your solution to the class. Practice explaining the steps you took as a team.
