Learn fundamentals of team sports

This lesson introduces students to the basics of team sports, specifically soccer and basketball, focusing on teamwork, communication, and physical skills. Step 1

Introduction

  • Gather students in a circle.
  • Briefly explain the importance of teamwork and communication in sports.
  • Introduce the sports: soccer and basketball, and outline the activities planned for the lesson.

Step 2

Soccer Drills

15 mins

  • Divide students into small groups.
  • Set up cones for dribbling drills.
  • Demonstrate basic dribbling and passing techniques.
  • Allow students to practice dribbling and passing with a partner.

Basketball Drills
