Step 1

Introduction

10 mins

Briefly introduce the topic of stress. Discuss with students what stress means and why it's important to learn how to manage it. Write down key points on the whiteboard.

Step 2

Identifying Stressors

15 mins

Distribute the worksheet for identifying stressors. Give students a few minutes to fill out the worksheet individually. Then, discuss common stressors as a group.

Step 3

Learning Stress Management Techniques

15 mins

Distribute the handout on stress management techniques. Go through the techniques one by one and discuss how they can help manage stress. Allow students to ask questions and share their thoughts.

Step 4

Stress Ball Making Activity

15 mins

Provide each student with a balloon and access to flour or rice and a funnel. Show them how to fill the balloon with flour or rice to create their own stress ball. Allow time for students to make their stress balls and decorate them if they wish.

Step 5

Role-Playing Scenarios

15 mins

Divide students into small groups and distribute printed scenarios. Each group will role-play their scenario and practice the stress management techniques discussed earlier. After all groups have finished, discuss what they learned from the activity.

Step 6

Conclusion and Exit Ticket

5 mins

Recap the key points of the lesson. Distribute the exit ticket quiz for students to complete. Collect the quizzes before the end of the class.
