Mindful Winter Walk

In this lesson, students will embark on an imaginary winter walk, using their senses to visualize a winter scene. Step 1

Introduction

3 minutes

  • Gather students in a circle and explain the activity: an imaginary winter walk.
  • Encourage them to use their imagination and senses to explore a winter scene.

Step 2

Guided Visualization

10 minutes

  • Ask students to close their eyes and take deep breaths to relax.
  • Guide them through a winter scene: describe the snow, the sound of crunching snow underfoot, the cold air, and the smell of pine trees.
  • Encourage them to imagine what they see, hear, and smell.

Reflection

5 minutes

  • Invite students to open their eyes and share their experiences.
  • Discuss what they imagined and how it made them feel.
