Step 1

  • Explain that today they will plan a small project to help their community.

Step 2

Brainstorming Session

15 mins

  • Distribute the Brainstorming Worksheet to each student.
  • Ask students to think about simple ways they can help their community (e.g., picking up litter, helping a neighbor).
  • Encourage them to write down their ideas on post-it notes and stick them on the large paper sheets.
  • Facilitate a group discussion to share ideas and select one project to implement.

Planning the Project

  • Divide students into small groups and assign roles (e.g., leader, planner, communicator).
  • Each group will create a simple plan for the chosen project, including what they need and who will do what.
  • Encourage creativity and teamwork as they plan.
