Distribute Detective Badges Printable. Point to the Emotion Faces Chart and review. Show a flashcard; have students point to that face. Invite 1–2 volunteers to share a time they felt that way.

Take a paper and crayon.
Draw a face showing how you feel right now.
2–3 detectives share their drawings and name the feeling.
Hand out drawing paper and crayons. Prompt: “Draw a face showing how you feel right now.” After drawing, invite 2–3 students to share their picture and name the emotion.
