John Crocker is the Director of School Mental Health & Behavioral Services for Methuen Public Schools, where he leads the district’s comprehensive approach to student mental health, behavioral supports, and whole-child wellbeing. He oversees universal mental health screening, evidence-based intervention systems, crisis response planning, districtwide SEL curriculum, and partnerships with community agencies to expand access to services. John also founded the Massachusetts School Mental Health Consortium (MASMHC), a statewide network that provides coaching, professional development, and technical assistance to more than 175 districts implementing comprehensive school mental health systems. Through MASMHC, he has led statewide collaboratives, developed implementation guides and grant programs, and supported districts in advancing trauma-informed, measurement-based, and tiered systems of support. Across both roles, John’s work centers on building sustainable systems that give every student access to the right supports—and equipping educators with the tools, training, and partnerships needed to deliver them
